Hello, friends! Since Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away, I have decided it was a good idea to put a little something together. I wanted to decorate just a small space in my home. I already decorated the foyer table, so I thought the next best place would be my little half wall. You can peek into my kitchen from this little window.
I went with a lot of the traditional red and white.
Here is a closer view at some of the items on this shelf:
I really like this ceramic candy jar. It is perfect for Valentine’s Day! The little heart-shaped candy holder is lovely too! Plus, the heart-shaped wooden flower matches perfectly! These are all placed on top of a red cloth and white doily.
What a pretty place to store yummy chocolates!

This little matching frame is just adorable, isn’t it? I placed a candle on top of a white candle holder and placed it behind the wooden XOXO sign.
This is probably the first time I really decorated for Valentine’s Day. It is not that I don’t like it, it just feels like it comes and goes so quickly that we just don’t really think about it until it is here. I decided it would be nice though since my little lady is now four and she gets excited for all of the holidays! Plus, all of the flowers and chocolates are nice too!
Here is a view of the entire area:
I also had some small heart-shaped bowl fillers, but I placed those on my foyer table.
I like the way they look inside my primitive bowl filled with some rag balls.
Well, that’s it for my Valentine’s Day decorating. How do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
