Hello, friends! Monday was a very cloudy day here in Florida. My entryway needed some spring vibes so I started to work on that. It started to rain a little so I went back inside for some coffee. I decided to put the entryway on hold and do some antique shopping instead.
I went to visit my favorite antique shop. This place never fails! As a bonus, it is near my house. I had a few items in mind I was in search for. I usually shop by my rule. Never buy anything unless I know exactly where to put it. If there is something I absolutely love, I’ll buy it anyway and eventually find a home for it! Pretty good rule, huh?
That is what happened today. I saw a few items on my list, but they were a little pricey. I didn’t want to spend too much, so I only bought three little items.
The first item didn’t go on my dresser. I just really liked it so in the kitchen it will stay! It is a 20th century silver-plated creamer.
The other two items will go on my bedroom dresser. They are so unique! I found this pitcher and adorable little oil lamp. I thought they both looked great on my dresser.
The round shape and the ice lip makes this pitcher a unique find!
It kind of reminds me of the days when people would use washbowl and pitcher sets to wash themselves up. We are so fortunate to have indoor plumbing! It is hard to believe that these pitchers had to be filled up by buckets then the used water was thrown out of the window.
That does it for my little antique adventure today. I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think!
