Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We’ve been having some nice sunny weather here in Florida so I was able to soak up some Vitamin D.
Today, I’ll be showing you how to make beautiful wine cork flower bouquets. These make great gifts for Mother’s Day!
I absolutely love these little bouquets! The bouquets are simply adorable and they look great just about anywhere. Plus, they are super easy to make!
I really need to give credit to my middle daughter for this idea. She made me something similar last year. I just revised them a bit. Let’s get started!
These are all of the supplies I used for this project:
Most of the project supplies came from my local Micheal’s craft store. The only thing I needed to buy online were the wine corks. These are great because they come in a variety of sizes. Or maybe you happen to have some around!
The first step is to boil your selection of corks for about 15 minutes. This will avoid crumbling of the cork when you try to make a hole in it. Make sure you allow them to cool completely.
The second step is to make a hole in the middle of the cork just big enough to fit a small flower stem.
Cut up the flower stems to your desired length. You want to make sure they are not too big. Insert the stem into the wine cork.
Repeat with all of the corks you are using. I went with batches of three. Two tall corks in the back and one short cork in the front.
Simply tie your ribbon around all three corks. That’s it! You can also add these cute little tags I have shown here in case you want to add a gift message to them.
You can be as creative as you want with this project. Mix and match colors or types of flowers.
Like I mentioned before, these are just the most adorable little gifts! I’m confident your gift recipient will agree!
I hope you enjoy making these little wine cork bouquets as much as I did!
