Hello, friends! The Fourth of July is this week and I can’t believe it! Even though the days are longer, summer just seems to fly by.
A few weeks ago, I met a friend for lunch. I arrived thirty minutes early and I didn’t want to just wait in the car. I drove down the road and found a cute little antique shop. My little lady and I browsed around and I found some adorable mini vintage crates. Whenever I am antiquing, I always try to pick up little things like boxes or cubbies. They always come in handy when you want to add some vintage vibes to a small space.
Today, I am going to show you what I did with these tiny crates.
My antique scale made it into this little vignette. I can’t get enough of this thing! I am constantly moving this beauty around. Vintage scales are always on my wish list. You can’t have too many of them!
I purchased a variety pack of vintage papers from Etsy. I simply wrapped a few of the book pages with some twine and tucked them inside one of the crates. My jelly jar candle made its way inside the other crate along with a vintage flash card.
The candle comes out of the crate when I want to burn it. It just looks so cute inside of the crate when not in use!
That’s it! Just a simple and cute way to use small crates or boxes.
So I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I usually find myself setting some personal goals this time of the year. Probably due to the slower pace and longer days. There certainly is more time to think even though it seems like time is quickly passing by. Do you do the same thing?
Have a safe Fourth of July!
