Hello, friends! I know summer started a long time ago, however, I just got around to completing my summer foyer decorating. Some of the items from my spring foyer were used. For instance, the picture in my frame and the faux greenery. I wanted more summer vibes with a vintage feel so let’s get going to my summer farmhouse foyer!
For this summer display, I simply added the adorable birdhouse, vintage papers, and some fresh lilies. I also added some vintage books to the bottom of my table. I absolutely love the look of these old books! These were from my local antique shop. You can also find bundles of these on Etsy.
Just look at this cute birdhouse I found! It has such a nice farmhouse look to it. The little birdie was a perfect match. It says, “nurse” on it which is perfect because that is what I am!
This space is so much fun for me to decorate! We were actually without a table in this spot for a long time! It was so empty without it.
My bulletin board is also a great piece to decorate according to the season. I usually keep my little photo circles there along with an insert from a book and a bible verse. For this display, I added some vintage papers to it. The little paper all the way on top to the left is actually dated April 1946!
Are you having a very hot summer where you live? We sure are here in Florida! We are still blessed though because it is not far to the beach. I’m actually ready for fall! I just love seeing all of the decorations up at Hobby Lobby even though it is over 100 degrees outside.
How are you spending your summer?
